Discovering local gems: Lake Norman “boutique crawl” set for Saturday

Hey, girls, looking for something fun to do this weekend? Look no further.

Grab your mama, your daughter, your grandmama, your cousin and your besties, and join Forsyth Magazine’s “boutique crawl,” a fun-filled, self-guided expedition through a dozen Lake Norman-area boutiques, each rolling out the red carpet for guests (that’s YOU!) on Saturday, April 27.

The boutique crawl is one of 16 shopping extravaganzas that Forsyth Magazines (LKN Magazine) has organized since 2010. These events offer an opportunity to have tons of fun while shopping local to support the area’s small businesses.

Cost for the crawl is $20 (purchase tickets here), which includes entry into exciting giveaways totaling over $2,000! The entry fee also unlocks exclusive store specials and discounts at each boutique, each of which will be offering complimentary refreshments and goodies!

After registering, you’ll receive updated information from Forsyth Magazines that will include a complete list of participating boutiques and their hours for the crawl along with various route options based on shoppers’ preferred starting locations.

This crawl has no rules; simply shop at your leisure and until your heart’s content, visiting participating boutiques in whatever order you choose.

Pro-tip, just in case you consider skipping any participating boutiques on the big day: The more stores you visit, the more chances you’ll have to win door prizes. You will also be entered into a drawing at every shop you visit, with a special GRAND PRIZE being awarded to shoppers who visit all participating stores.
